"Hey There Delilah," the song responsible for putting the Plain White T's on the map, remained atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts for a second week, according to the August 4 Billboard.
The song, which dethroned seven-week winner "Umbrella (featuring Jay-Z)" last week, was also fifth on the Modern Rock chart.
Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" slid into second place on the Hot 100, while Rihanna's "Umbrella" was down to third. Timbaland's "The Way I Are (featuring Keri Hilson)" and Shop Boyz' "Party Like a Rockstar" rounded out the top five.
"What Time is It," performed by the High School Musical 2 cast, was the week's "hot shot debut" at number six. Akon's "Sorry, Blame it On Me," also a new song, was seventh.
Hurricane Chris' "A Bay Bay," T-Pain's "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin') (featuring Yung Joc)" and T-Pain's "Bartender (featuring Akon)" completed the top ten.
Notable advances included an eight place hop for Piles' "Shawty (featuring T-Pain)" (#12), a seven place climb for Rihanna's "Shut Up and Drive" (#15), a six place move for Aly and AJ's "Potential Breakup Song" (#17), a nineteen place leap for Soulja Boy's "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" (#28), a nine place ascent for Avril Lavigne's "When You're Gone" (#43), a sixteen place advance for P!nk's "Who Knew" (#51), a twelve place jump for Justin Timberlake's "LoveStoned" (#61) and an eleven place move for Paramore's "Misery Business" (#75).
