Brandon Vera Returning to UFC, Possible Fight With Sylvia?

The hot Heavyweight prospect is back in the UFC
UFC officially confirmed this week that Brandon Vera has resolved his management issues and will return to the Octagon.
Following his definitive victory over Frank Mir at UFC 65, Vera was reportedly under consideration for a Heavyweight Championship bout against then-champ Tim Sylvia. But contractual issues with his management kept him sidelined for much of 2007, rendering him unable to fight.
UFC's announcement, however, confirmed that the issues have been put to bed. Vera could return to MMA as early as this October.
During a UFC 74 press conference, UFC President Dana White said Tim Sylvia is a potential opponent for Vera's return fight. Sylvia is presently out with a staph infection (and recovery from back surgery), and it remains unclear when he will be able to return to the ring.
