Update on which faces will star in the "Beverly Hills 90210" remake
Variety confirmed Monday that Shenae Grimes and Lori Loughlin have been cast as leads in The CW's anticipated "Beverly Hills 90210" remake.
Grimes, from "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will play main character Annie Mills, whose family relocates to California to set the seeds for the series.
Recent rumors said that the Annie Mills role was initially offered to Hilary Duff. Duff reportedly declined the role due to a clash between the nature of the part and Duff's career goals.
Lori Loughlin, known for her work on "Full House," will play Annie's mother Celia.
