The former WWE Superstar has a new pro wrestling gig
WrestlingObserver.com reported Wednesday that Bobby Lashley will make his in-ring return for Booker T's PWA.
The gig, set for Pasadena, Texas on May 23, had been expected due to the friendship between Booker and Lashley but could not be negotiated until after the expiration of Lashley's non-compete clause.
Lashley, who held the ECW Championship during his WWE tenure, had been compared to Brock Lesnar. Like Lesnar, Lashley's run with WWE ended far earlier than expected—he announced his sudden departure in January of this year.
