WWE's two efforts to boost interest in its product
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon announced two plans for stimulating re-interest in the World Wrestling Entertainment product.
The first, which had been rumored for a while, is a roster draft. The draft, which has a history of serving as a popular ratings booster for WWE, will take place on a three-hour edition of RAW on June 23.
The other, which has interestingly been met with criticism from WWE fans on message boards, is a million dollar giveaway. McMahon will give away $1 million of his own money to a fan each week on RAW for the forseeable future.
