The pop-rock band hits number one; "Dancing with the Stars" alum also debuts well

Though it was down from the 235,000 opening sales total for "Seventeen Days," the new "3 Doors Down" album, a self-titled release, shared its predecessor's debut mark on the Billboard 200—number one.

The album's 154,000 sales gave it an easy victory for the week. Number two on the chart belonged to Bun B's "II Trill" (98,000), while two-time "Dancing with the Stars" winner Julianne Hough proved dancers from the show can indeed be successful in other media with a third-place debut for her self-titled album (67,000 sales).

Death Cab for Cutie, which won last week's frame, fell to fifth on a sixty three percent sales decline to 53,000.

A returning Jesse McCartney, fresh off a successful songwriting gig on monster hit "Bleeding Love," started at number fourteen with 30,000 sales for new album "Departure."

Donna Summer's "Crayons" entered at number seventeen (23,000), while Foxboro Hottubs' "Stop, Drop and Roll" started at 21 with 19,000.
