One of the breakout characters on "The Office" scores a starring role
Ed Helms, best known for his work on "The Daily Show" and as Andy Bernard on NBC's "The Office," scored a leading role in indie comedy "Manure," reports Variety.
Helms will co-star with Billy Bob Thornton in the film about a group of manure salesmen in the 1960s. Chet, Helms' character, is the womanizer of the group of manure sellers.
Tea Leoni and Kyle MacLachlan had already been cast in the film, which was written by Mark and Michael Polish.
