Katy Perry's summer hit fends off competition from music's top acts

"Burnin' Up," the latest from the Jonas Brothers, made a solid debut this week, but the song, like singles from Lil' Wayne, Leona Lewis and Rihanna, was topped by Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Girl."

The song spent its second week atop the Billboard Hot 100, leading a top five that included Weezy's "Lollipop (featuring Static Major)," Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," Rihanna's "Take a Bow" and the aforementioned Jonas Brothers release.

Coldplay's "Viva la Vida," Plies' "Bust it Baby Part 2 (featuring Ne-Yo)," Chris Brown's "Forever," Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas' "This is Me" and Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine" completed the top ten.

"Disturbia," the second single off the new deluxe version of Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" album, made a seven place jump this week, landing at number eleven. Other big increases included a seven place push for Lil' Wayne's "A Milli" (14), a seventy two place move for Sugarland's "All I Want to Do" (19), an eleven place bounce for Young Jeezy's "Put On (featuring Kanye West)" (47) and a thirty two place ascent for Keith Urban's "You Look Good in My Shirt" (61).

Sugarland's "Live in a Northern Town (featuring Little Big Town and Jake Owen)" followed "Burnin' Up" as the best debut of the week; it clocked in at 43. Jessica Simpson's "Come On Over" followed at 65, while Jordin Sparks' "One Step at a Time" was good for 79. Boys Like Girl's "Thunder" moved in at 88, Rehab's buzzed about "Bartender Song (aka Sittin' at a Bar)" landed at 94, Staind's "Believe" started at 95, while Rick Ross' "Here I Am (featuring Nelly and Avery Storm)" entered at 99.
